Suicide Prevention

John Henden and colleagues have been field testing both basic and specialised solution focused tools and techniques on highly suicidal clients, for over 15 years.

John has been running workshops and speaking at conferences on this important topic for about 13 of those years.  Many past workshop participants urged him to write a book on the subject, as they had experienced the same positive outcomes with their caseloads, too. 

After 4 years of research and writing, finally the book was published by John Wiley & Sons in 2008.

The 2-day training workshops are always well received.  To date, in addition to UK-wide, they have been hosted by the following countries:  Sweden, Finland, France and the USA.
